Society to hold fall fundraiser
LITCHFIELD — The Litchfield Historical Society will hold its fall fundraiser, 69 p.m., Sept. 14, to benefit the organization’s education mission. The event will be held at the Tapping Reeve Meadow, behind the Tapping Reeve House & Litchfield Law School.
The evening will feature a signature drink provided by the Litchfield Distillery, live music by Django’s Reserve, and small plate offerings from The Pantry. A special silent auction will help raise money for the education programs hosted by the Historical Society including field trips from local schools, offsite programs for neighborhood partners, community events, monthly lectures, and historic walking tours.
Featured items in this year’s auction include a Lake Tahoe Vacation rental, three fruit trees to be planted by Peter Montgomery, an exclusive midcentury themed luncheon, and more!
