McCall Center for Behavioral Health named Top Workplace

-

TORRINGTON – McCall Center for Behavioral Health has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by Hearst Connecticut Media Group.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a thirdparty survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technologybased employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottomline results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

“This award is a treasured honor because it is reflective of the connectedness of our staff to our mission and vision. The work we do at McCall is challenging, at times heartbreaking, at times joy filled and always critically important. Our staff are our most valued resource and their engagement in the work is what allows for our clients to heal and recover. I can think of nothing more important. “Maria Coutant Skinner, LCSW Executive Director at McCall Center for Behavioral Health.

“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organization have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
