DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

⏩ Matthew Weiss, Southern Connecticu­t: Senior defensive lineman had his second consecutiv­e game with two quarterbac­k sacks as the Owls defeated Bentley 3117 for their second straight win. He also led the Owls with five solo tackles.

⏩ Jordan D’Onofrio, Western Connecticu­t: Averaged 47.5 yards on four punts, had a 27yard field goal and was 5 for 5 on extra points in 3821 win over Mass. Maritime.

⏩ Koby Quansah, Duke: Senior linebacker from Manchester had his third straight doubledigi­t tackle game in a 4123 win over Georgia Tech. He also had 11⁄2 tackles for loss as Duke improved to 42. He ranked third in the ACC with 59 tackles this season.
