Red Barn Brewers to host young professionals
Happy Hour Event at Red Barn Brewers
The Chamber’s Young Professionals Organization will meet on Nov. 13 from 57 p.m. at Little Red Barn Brewers in Winsted for a networking Happy Hour event.
All Chamber member employees between the ages of 2140 are welcome to attend. There will be music and Singing Sliders’ food truck with food for purchase. The Young Professionals Organization is a great way for younger employees to build their network and develop lasting friendships with other young professionals in the region.

Manufacturers’ Coalition
The Manufacturers’ Coalition held a meeting on Nov. 1, hosted by Seitz LLC. The meeting was for manufacturers only and the topic was Environmental Compliance. Presenters were Julie Bjorkman of JKB Consulting and Wayne Bugden of One Earth Environmental. After a 15minute presentation, attendees were able to ask questions and have further discussion on the items covered. Thank you to the presenters for sharing their knowledge and thanks to Seitz for hosting and providing a pizza lunch.
The next coalition meeting will take place on Dec. 13 and the focus will be on legislation, both new and upcoming this year. Our local delegation will be on hand to update attendees and answer questions. This meeting will be open to manufacturers and educators from the region.
