Trinity has beaten Wesleyan four straight times and haven’t allowed a touchdown to the Cardinals in the last two meetings . ... Last year’s meeting was not for the faint of heart as the teams combined for 401 yards of total offense and the quarterbac­ks were sacked 13 times . ... Trinity and Wesleyan rank first and second in the NESCAC in passing defense. Trinity leads the NESCAC in scoring offense (32.1 points) and total defense (261.9 yards per game) while Wesleyan is second with 14 intercepti­ons and third in 19 sacks . ... Trinity’s offense is led by sophomore quarterbac­k Seamus Lambert (1,904 passing yards, 17 TDs) and Tijani Harris (559 rushing yards) while four of the top nine tacklers are also sophmores.
