KidsPlay Children’s Museum plans story times

TORRINGTON — KidsPlay Children’s Museum has partnered with the Torrington Historical Society to present Bilingual Stories in the Garden. Classic fairy tales will be read in English and Spanish by KidsPlay volunteers, Humphry Rolleston and Carmen Neale, according to a statement.

Readings will be held Oct. 14 and 21 at 10 a.m. in the Hotchkiss-Fyler Gardens, located behind the Hotchkiss-Fyler House Museum, 192 Main St.

Families can bring folding chairs and blankets and join KidsPlay volunteers for all or some of these dates. Social distancing and masks for all including children over 2 years of age are mandated at this event, organizers said. Parking is available behind the Hotchkiss-Fyler House Museum, more parking spaces are available on the street. Pre-registrati­on is required.
