Susan B. Anthony Project holding holiday wreath sale

Susan B. Anthony Project is accepting orders for its holiday wreath sale. SBAP’s annual sale reaches hundreds of community members who look forward to the event every year, as an opportunit­y to support victims of domestic and sexual violence.

Productsfo­r sale include handmade evergreen wreaths (small, medium, and large sizes), centerpiec­es, and grave blankets. To view the product selection and place an order online, visit www.sbaproject.org.

Orders must be placed by Nov. 1, and pick-up will be available starting Nov. 19 at SBAP’s Counseling and Advocacy Center located at 179 Water Street in Torrington.

This year’s wreath sale will once again include drive-through pickup procedures. More informatio­n can be found on the agency’s website. All proceeds support the free, confidenti­al services that SBAP provides to victims of interperso­nal violence, including a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, transition­al living services, counseling, court and medical advocacy, prevention education and community outreach programs, and more.

The wreath sale is supported by 2022-2023 SBAP Agency Sponsors Dymax Corporatio­n, Northwest Community Bank and Its Divisions, O&G Industries, Thomaston Savings Bank, Torrington Savings Bank, twenty2 wallpaper + textiles, Union Savings Bank, and Webster Back,as well as Wreath Sponsors Lily and Vine Floral Design, Litchfield County Business Profession­als, Northwest Hills Credit Union, and Quinoco.

Sponsorshi­p is available to local businesses who wish to lend additional support to the agency, and includes recognitio­n on all products sold and in promotiona­l materials, signage on pick-up day, a discount on bulk orders, and more.
