‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ cast members announced for 90s Con in Hartford
Hartford’s 06103 zip code will become the 90210 when cast members from the seminal 90s show attend 90s Con at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The era-themed convention, which takes place March 17-19, will welcome actors Ian Ziering, Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling from “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
Ziering, Garth and Spelling will be joining fellow castmate Shannen Doherty, who was previously announced with members of the “Charmed” cast — another one of her famous shows of the era. The four currently-announced cast members of “Beverly Hills, 90210” will participate in both solo and group photo opportunities. According to 90s Con organizers, “one or two more celebrity guests” may join the group for pictures.
“Beverly Hills, 90210” was a teen drama that ran from 1990 to 2000, and was rebooted with the original cast in 2019 with “BH90210.” The reboot was canceled after one season. The same year that the reboot debuted, original cast member Luke Perry died after suffering from an ischemic stroke.
An “All That” reunion featuring Amanda Bynes and an appearance by Steve Burns of the children’s television show “Blues Clues” are among the notable celebrity guests and panels at 90s Con. They’ll join familiar 90s movie, TV and music faces including for mer Connecticut resident Melissa Joan Hart, Mario Lopez, Marc Summers and members of NSYNC.
Cast members from “Hocus Pocus,” “Saved by the Bell,” “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” “Clueless” and “The Wonder Years” are scheduled to reunite on stage. So will “All That” cast members like Kel Mitchell, Lori Beth Denberg, Danny Tamberelli and Bynes, who will be at the reunion in her first-ever appearance at a convention, according to organizers.
More guests will be announced in the coming weeks, according to the 90s Con website.
Passes to the convention start at $40 per ticket. Kids’ passes are available at a discounted rate. VIP, Saturday and weekend passes are currently sold out.
