LANSDALE - Fans of baked cakes, cookies, pastries and coffee now have a new destination in downtown Lansdale.

Tabora Farm and Orchard’s new Lansdale location opened Thursday morning, to enjoy a selection of fresh food from the Hilltown based bakery’s new site.

Owner Caleb Torrice served the first customer shortly after 7 a.m., and the business will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays, and closed on Tuesdays.

The new Lansdale location also features Brig O’Doon coffee from Ottsville, a winery, spice shop, and homemade ice cream, in addition to a full on-site bakery.

A vendor at the Lansdale Farmers Market since its inaugural market year of 2009, Tabora also operates a store at 1104 Upper Stump Road in Hilltown, and hosted a welcome concert for the public outside the Lansdale store at 209 W. Main Street last month.
