Chinese buffet offers Italian and Mexican dishes
LOWER PROVIDENCE — The Chinese buffet evolution at Park Ridge Shopping Center has been a compelling phenomenon to watch in the past dozen years or so.
The prime spot near Acme in Trooper has gone from your basic no-frills, four-cylinder model (Tokyo Buffet, New China Buffet) to the current supercharged, eight-speed king of the road called Full House Buffet.
The latest and ultimate all-you-can-eat extravaganza arrived firing on all cylinders in the space that was doubled and grandly remodeled — and just as quickly vacated — by Hibachi Grill and Supreme Sushi Buffet last year.
Under glittering chandeliers in the cavernous and elegant dining room, Full House Buffet has put its own spin on the mega smorgasbord concept.
“People are telling us how happy they are that we are open,” said manager Tony Wang. “We feel that we provide a healthy alternative to other buffets in the area and pride ourselves on the food being fresh. The customers really appreciate that and we want them to come and enjoy over 200 items in

a comfortable, clean and friendly atmosphere.”
The beauty of an all-buffet-all-the-time oasis has never been given a more glorious staging than at Full House Buffet.
Whether you’re in the mood for Chinese or not in the mood for Chinese, Full House Buffet has your appetite abundantly covered, with Asian, Italian, American and Mexican cuisine, all forming multiple steam-table islands of enticements.
Go light with the salad, sushi and fresh fruit bar, or dig into the food bonanza that’s judiciously arranged with generous room to maneuver between stations.
Asian staples and exotic grub alike, such as won ton soup, General Tso’s chicken, and lobster with ginger sauce, set the stage for a culinary tour of the world that includes salmon dressed with mango salsa, crab cakes, prime rib, crab legs and quesadillas.
“We offer more variety than other buffets,” Wang said.
And if there’s still room left for your gastronomic imagination to take flight, you can load your plate with your favorite raw meat and vegetables and watch the hibachi grill chef stir-fry it all up for you.
“The hibachi grill has been one of the most popular features here,” Wang said.
The robust weekend crowds are an indication that Full House Buffet is living up to its name, but Wang and co-owners Zhen and Anson Huang invite folks to come in and treat themselves to an affordable feast on weekdays as well.
“We’re a great place for lunch also,” Wang said. “We really want to make this one of your best dining experiences ever.”
