Sheriff’s department arrests 6 delinquent parents in raid

NORRISTOWN — A group of sheriff’s deputies took the streets early Wednesday morning and arrested six parents who have warrants against them for failing to make child support payments.

The six defendants arrested were responsible for nine children and owed a total of $57,777.07, according to the department. One of the parents owed $30,867.33. The department did not release the names of the defendants arrested Wednesday morning.

There are now 25 parents in Montgomery who still have active bench warrants for failing to pay child support to a total of 51 children, according the sheriff’s department, which released the names of the remaining defendants at large.

There are 13 defendants who had a last known address in Norristown who owe over $176,000 in arrears: Vincent Whipple owes $8,579.89; Jay McGhee owes $1957; Lafayette Hill owes $3,364.88; Whitney Brazzle owes $23,804.55; Andre Cook owes $9237.12; Michael Jones has two cases against him, owes a total of $14,615.68; Bradley Davis has two cases against him and owes $6,598.83; James Kornegay has two cases against him and owes $44,894.05; Timothy Smith owes $15,076.08; Gilbert Rameriz owes $13,152.25, Shakoor Davis owes $1034.56; Marquis Robinson has two cases against him and owes $27,158.03 and Israel Pardon owes $7,964.47.

In the Pottstown area, seven wanted men owe more then $13,000 in child support: Corey Ryder of Royersford owes $2,207.80; Desbee Doctor of Douglassville owes $1,131.65; Shane Kline of Pottstown owes $1,513.80; Joseph Bilinski of Pottstown owes $889.42; Todd Littlejohn of Pottstown has two cases against him and owes a total of $6,866.91; Terry Pearsall of Pottstown owes $2,010.46; James Pascavage of Collegeville has two cases against him and owes $835.64.

Rebecca Baker from Horsham owes $23,992.02, John Dyczok of Abington owes $17,690.09 and Brian Allen of Worcester owes $29,222.44.
