Dale E. Cannon

Dale E. Cannon, 82, of Cornwall Manor died there on Thursday, June 4, 2015. He was the husband of Lois F. Beal Cannon with whom he would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary this August.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Harold J. and Luella M. Clapp Cannon. He was a retired systems analyst from UNISYS, Inc. in Blue Bell, PA.

Dale was a US Navy veteran of Korea, a graduate of Fenn College, Cleveland, Ohio, with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Math, and a member of Church of the Good Shepard, Lebanon.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons Scott E. husband of Cheryl Cannon, G. William Cannon, George A. Cannon, Douglas L. Cannon, two daughters Heather L. Cannon, and Alice G. Cannon, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister Dora-Mae Peter. He was preceded in death by a son James R. Cannon and a sister Della Anderson.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Levi Zerr Chapel at Cornwall Manor at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite, 1509, NY, NY 10018 in his memory.
