HA TB OR O-HO RS HAM 7, PLYMOUTH WHITE MARSH 1>> The Hatters were led by two seniors in a win over the Colonials Thursday. Senior pitcher Brian Eddington threw a complete game, tossing 94 pitches. He allowed just five hits and no walks while striking out 10 in the complete-game victory. Senior centerfiel­der Eddie Schultz went 4-for-4. Freshman shortstop Jake Bianchini recorded his first varsity hit, his first stolen base and his first RBI.

GA’S POPPER NAMED TO USA U-19 ROSTER FOR GERMANY TOUR >> Following an intense training camp weekend held in both Chapel Hill, N.C. and Durham, N.C., the coaching staffs for the U.S. U-17, U-19 and U-21 Women’s National Teams have announced the tour rosters for upcoming internatio­nal trips. All three junior squads will be traveling to different global locations with the U-17 USWNT traveling to Ireland from April 11-18, the U-19 USWNT venturing to Germany from April 12-18 and the U-21 USWNT making the trip to England from April 10-16.

Popper is a sophomore at Germantown Academy.

AMBLER’S SANNI HELPS TEAM TO 7TH PLACE >> Chris Sanni of Ambler helped the U.S. finish 7th in the Trabert Cup (Men’s 40 and over). Six American teams took part in the ITF Young Seniors World Team Championsh­ips last week in Cape Town, South Africa. The 24 players were competing for six Cups in the 35to 45-and-over equivalent of tennis’ Davis Cup and Fed Cup competitio­ns. The ITF Young Seniors World Team Championsh­ips is the highest-ranked event on the ITF Seniors Circuit for male and female players in the age categories of 35-45. Following the ITF Young Seniors World Team Championsh­ips, the World Individual Championsh­ips will be held March 25 - April 1. Sanni teamed up with Chris Groer, Mark Tepes and Michael Chang in taking 7th in the world.
