Forrest H. Harman Sr. of North Wales.

Forrest H. Harman Sr., 89, of North Wales, went home to be with his Lord Friday, May 19, 2017, at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, Sellersvil­le.

He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor V. (Grove) Harman.

Born Nov. 16, 1927, in Upper Salford Township, he was the son of the late Loy E. and Marie A. (Smith) Harman.

Forrest was a retired electricia­n with Local 380.

He was a member of Christ UMC, Lansdale, and a member of the Shiloh MacCalla Lodge 558.

In addition, he was an honorably discharged veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.

Above all else, Forrest will be remembered for being a loving father, grandfathe­r and great-grandfathe­r.

His survivors include two children, Patrice N. Peterman (Timothy), Telford, and Loy C. Harman (Joann), Pottstown; four grandchild­ren, Kelley Alexander (Daniel), Gregory Peterman, Michael Harman (Kate), Nicholas Harman (Heather); five great grandchild­ren; and sister Gladys McDonald, NC.

The family will receive friends starting 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, at Christ United Methodist Church, 1020 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA, 19446, with the funeral at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
