Souderton lost a heartbreak­er Thursday night in the second round of the District 1-AAA Boys Volleyball Tournament. CR North advanced with a 2025, 18-25, 25-16, 25-21 and 16-14 victory.

CR NORTH 3, SOUDERTON 2 >> Souderton lost a heartbreak­er Thursday night in the second round of the District 1-AAA Tournament. CR North advanced with a 20-25, 18-25, 25-16, 25-21 and 16-14 victory. For Souderton, Mike Pagan led the way with 26 kills and seven blocks, while Ben Campman added 12 kills and 12 digs. Cam Hart and Jimmie Wert added 15 and 13 digs respective­ly. Luke Pagan dished out 32 assists.

Baseball

METHACTON 6, CHELTENHAM 2>> Patrick O’Neill drove in four runs to key the Warriors’ victory over the Panthers in their regular-season finale.

Shamus Shields had two more RBI for Methacton (13-7) in a tune-up for next week’s District 1 playoffs. Zack Griffin, pitching four innings in relief of starter Jake Morello, got four strikeouts en route to the winning decision.

Softball

SOUDERTON 12, DOCK 1 >> Dock played its last regular season game against Souderton Thursday. Dock gave up 6 unearned runs in the top of the 1st and could not work its way back. Dock scored one run in the bottom of the 4th with hits by Jill Bolton and Kate Strickland along with an infield error. Dock is the No. 1 seed in the upcoming D1-3A tournament and will face No. 4 seed St. Basil on
