Patricia M. Secor Muench of Scranton

Patricia M. Secor Muench of Scranton, formerly of Lansdale, died Monday August 21, 2017 at the Green Ridge Health Care Center following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Muench, who died in January of 2015.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. “Hank” and Helen Kadgen Secor. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, Class of 1953. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a data programmer for Prudential Insurance.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Society.

Patricia’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of the Green Ridge Health Care Center for all of their compassionate care.

Surviving are stepsons Kenneth V. Muench and wife Joanne, Marlton, NJ, Gregory Muench and wife Stacey Pipersville, and Paul Muench, Gouldsboro; grandchildren Kelly, Kyle, Heather, Aiden, and Emma; brothers Joseph Secor, Scranton, and Dennis Secor and wife Kathy, Clarks Green; sister Peggy Secor, Scranton; niece Theresa Sowka and husband Steven; nephews Dennis Secor and Patrick Zippittelli; several great-nephews and a great niece.

She was preceded in death by sister Theresa Secor.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454 with interment to follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914. Friends and family may pay their respects in the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
