Freshman defender Emily Mycek (Methacton) has three goals and an assist and the Red Devils field hockey team is off to a 5-1 start. Mycek had a goal to help the Devils get past Frostburg State, 4-0, then scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Bridgewater. But her biggest goal came in the league opener as she redirected a penalty corner in the game’s 19th minute to give the Devils a 1-0 win over Swarthmore.
