Evelyn A. Jandzio of Hatfield.

Evelyn A. Jandzio, 85, of Hatfield, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Chester Jandzio, her husband of 57 years.

Born December 24, 1931 in Scranton, PA, she was the only daughter of the late Michael and Sophie (Schubert) Roman.

Evelyn was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother, with a penchant for family gatherings. She was kind, caring, loved by all, and always put the needs of others above her own. Evelyn was active in her church, serving in several capacities.

She is survived by four children, Corinne Prikockis and her husband, Vito, of West Chester, Gregory Jandzio and his wife, Carla, of Melbourne, FL, Matthew Jandzio of Hatfield, and Daniel Jandzio and his wife, Deborah, of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 919 Tennis Ave., Maple Glen, PA 19002, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evelyn’s name to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org, or to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church at the above address.
