Lorraine H. Keller, 90, of Souderton
Lorraine H. “Holly” Keller, 90, of Souderton, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Souderton Mennonite Homes, Franconia Twp. She was the beloved wife of 68 years to the late Rev. Frank R. Keller who died in 2015.
Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Julianna (Benner) Hollenbach.
She was employed in her earlier years with her husband at Daub’s Market in Souderton.
Mrs. Keller was a member of Zion Mennonite Church in Souderton. A strong, intelligent woman, she loved books, traveling – Israel, Spain, Cyprus, Egypt, and Germany, was a Phillies’ fan, and played basketball and field hockey in her younger years. An excellent seamstress, she also enjoyed cooking and baking potato pie, shoofly pie, and was known for her blueberry pie.
She is survived by a son, Thomas E. Keller and his wife Elizabeth of Washington, ME. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Keller, and twelve brothers and sisters.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Summit View Auditorium of the Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit St., Souderton. Interment will be private in Zion Memorial Gardens, Franconia Twp. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Mennonite Central Committee, 21 South 12th Street, PO Box 500, Akron, PA 17501-0500.
