L. Hope Magnum of Lansdale.
L. Hope Mangum, 53, of Lansdale, went home to the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Born in Richmond, VA in 1964, she was a daughter of Glyn D. & Noretta “Rita” (Akers) Mangum.
Surviving Hope, in addition to her parents, are her brothers, G. Douglas Mangum, Jr. (Patti), of Telford, R. Todd Mangum (Linda), of Souderton; her nephews, Kyle (Laura), Chad (Mandy), Tyler (Sharon), Caleb (Mary), Seth, and Jesse; and her great niece and nephews, Katie Lee, Robby, Trey, Pryce, and Austin.
Hope graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University, attaining her Bachelor of Science degree, and went on to be employed with Merck for 30 years.
Outside of work, Hope was the life of the party. She loved gathering people together and socializing. She also enjoyed crafting and scrap-booking. She loved to travel, and she loved to visit her missionary friends and go on missions trips. She loved her vacation destinations all over the world, but her favorite was always the beach.
Hope’s love for Jesus and for people was powerful. She lived life to the full; her vivacious laugh was contagious and filled the room. She will always be remembered for her generous spirit and her constant doting on her nephews, her family, and others.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Saturday, April 21, 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at Grace Bible Church, 423 N. Main Street, Souderton, PA 18964 and are invited to attend a celebration of her life at 11:00 AM. Internment will be held privately in Limerick Garden of Memories.
In Hope’s memory, donations may be made to “The Missions Ministry of Grace Bible Church” in lieu of flowers at the address above.
Arrangements entrusted to the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
