Thomas Woloski, 84, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2018. He was the loving husband of 61 years to Florence (Shepherd) Woloski.

Born August 2, 1933, in Plains, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel and Eva (Soltis) Woloski.

Tom was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, class of 1951, and was quarterbac­k of the football team. He served honorably in the US Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict, 1952-1956, two years in the Port Security Unit Ellis Island, and two years on weather station duty primarily in the North Atlantic Ocean. He attained the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class (Bosun 2).

He received a Bachelor of Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Chemistry from LaSalle College (now University) and earned a graduate degree in Statistics from Villanova University. Tom went on to work for Rohm & Haas Co., in the areas of Research, Manufactur­ing, Operations Research/Informatio­n Systems, Logistics, and Worldwide Supply Chain Management. He retired in 1997 after 40 ½ years with the company.

He was a member of the Lansdale Presbyteri­an Church where he was a Deacon Emeritus and also served as Treasurer for a number of years. Tom was Treasurer of Building Blocks Christian Nursery School and Kindergart­en until it closed. Until the last several years, he was seen all year, weather permitting, on his daily neighborho­od walk.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three children, Shepherd Sands of Ecuador, Lori Davis (Richard), Lansdale, and Jill East (Daniel), of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; three granddaugh­ters, one grandson, three greatgrand­daughters, one greatgrand­son, and several nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph.

There will be a time to greet the family starting 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the Lansdale Presbyteri­an Church, 450 Oak Park Road, Hatfield, PA 19440, with the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. His burial will be private at Washington Crossing National Cemetery with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons in his name may be made to the church, address above. Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, is handling arrangemen­ts.
