Cleta Virginia Kopp (nee Heckler) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Souderton Mennonite Homes. She was 91 years of age.
Cleta was born and raised at 7 Hamilton Street in Telford, the sixth child of nine born to Howard and Annie Heckler (nee Nace).
She married Ralph Merrill Kopp in 1947 and enjoyed 46 years of life together until his passing in 1993. They established their home in 1948 at 346 Cowpath Road.
Cleta’s lifelong vocation was realized as a wife, mother and homemaker, raising two sons, the Rev. Rodney S. Kopp (Rita) of Glenside and the late Craig M. Kopp (Carol) of Minnesota, nurturing nine grandchildren and loving fourteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Ken Heckler (Judy) and Stan Heckler (Carol), one brother-in-law Roy Kopp and many nieces and nephews.
Cleta was a member of Family Worship Center in Lansdale. A Service of Celebration will be held at Souderton Mennonite Home (207 W. Summit, Souderton) on Tuesday, May 1st at 11:00am, preceded by a Viewing/Calling Hour at 10:00am. Interment takes place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Telford.
