Ethel M. Schlosser

Ethel M. (Arnold) Schlosser, 97, passed away on August 17, 2018, at Dock Woods Community in Towamencin Township, PA, where she had resided for the last three years. She had formerly lived in Chalfont, PA, Vernfield, PA, Schwenksville, PA, Skippack, PA, and Collegeville, PA.

She was the wife of the late Clayton C. Schlosser who passed away in 1991.

Born November 4, 1920, in King of Prussia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Martin L. and Elsie (Jones) Arnold.

She attended Norristown High School.

Mrs. Schlosser was a member of Trinity U. C. C. Church of Collegeville. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and cooking.

Surviving are two daughters, Lois Rupe and her husband, Larry, of Shelby, NC, and Leah Rambo and her husband, Barry, of Milford, DE; and four sons, David A. Schlosser and his wife, Sue, of Telford, PA, Clayton Phillip Schlosser of Shelby, NC, Stephen Schlosser of Shelby, NC, and Joel Schlosser of Hereford, PA. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Leon, Martin, Ben, Keith and Wayne Arnold; and by a grandson, Michael Schlosser.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11AM on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Twp.), PA, where family will receive friends beginning at 10AM. Burial will follow at Schwenksville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Living Branches Foundation / Chapel, 275 Dock Dr., Lansdale, PA 19446.
