Sally K. Bixler of Lansdale, and Theresa K. Lynch of Lansdale.

Sally K. Bixler, 98, of Lansdale, died Sunday, September 30, 2018. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Bixler, who died July 26, 1989.

Born January 6, 1920 in Philadelph­ia, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Lillian (Bechtel) Kinzer.

Mrs. Bixler was a veteran of the US Army having served her country honorably as a nurse during World War II. A dedicated homemaker, she was a devoted military wife and loving mother.

Sally was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, and an active volunteer with the American Red Cross.

Survivors include her children, Barbara A. Coil of Hudson, WI, and Ronald K. Bixler (Joan F.) of West Chester; three grandchild­ren, Adam Jason Bixler (Cari) of Millersvil­le, MD, Ryan Christophe­r Bixler (Andrea) of Birmingham, AL, and Bradley Joseph Bixler of West Chester; two great-grandchild­ren, Halen Kent Bixler and Brianna Quinn Bixler; and her cousin, Jerry Clack (Julian Gil) of Pittsburgh.

The Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Meadowood Senior Living, 3205 Skippack Pike, Worcester. Burial will be private in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.

Arrangemen­ts are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
