North Penn com­mu­nity takes part in Wed­nes­day’s Walk to School Day

Stu­dents from North Penn School District par­tic­i­pated in the an­nual Walk to School Day on Wed­nes­day, Oct. 10. The global event “has be­come part of a move­ment for year-round safe routes to school and a cel­e­bra­tion,” ac­cord­ing to walk­bike­toschool.org.

Par­ents, cross­ing guards, po­lice of­fi­cers, and even mas­cots got in on the fun and as­sured stu­dents had a safe pas­sage to school.
