Richard B. White

The Reporter (Lansdale, PA) - - WEATHER -

Richard B. “Rick” White, a 1964 graduate of North Penn High, has succumbed to cancer. Compliant with his wishes, he was mourned in a modest ceremony in Cape May, NJ. Following his formative years in Lansdale, Rick proceeded to a life rich in achievement: Eagle scout, graduate electrical engineer, MBA, Bell Atlantic VP, on to transatlantic financial consultant, Cape May property developer, and finally, in what he gushed was his favorite role of all -- Porsche racing car instructor. As his illness progressed, Rick was lovingly attended by his entrepreneurial soulmate Victoria Clayton. He is survived by Victoria, his college love Susan White, their daughter Tara, a brother Bill, and a sister Mary Christine Seaton. Like many who grieve the loss of a loved one to an unstoppable cancer, we who loved Rick are left with the consolation, however meager, that everything that could be done was done. It just wasn’t enough.
