GA girls clinch outright Inter-Ac title
Elle Stauffer posted a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds, Rachel Balzer scored a game-high 19 points and the Germantown Academy girls basketball team clinched the outright InterAc League championship by rolling to its eight straight win — a 75-49 victory over host Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Friday.
Maddie Vizza added 12 points for the Patriots (261, 11-0 league), who claimed the Inter-Ac title for a fifth consecutive season.

NORTH PENN 67, PENNRIDGE 57 >> North Penn solidified its spot in districts Thursday, the Knights (10-12, 6-6 SOL Continental) holding off Pennridge for their second straight win after building a 40-31 halftime lead.

Zach Thatcher had 14 points while Andrew Vince chipped in 11 points for Souderton (7-15, 4-8 SOL Continental), who flipped the game in its favor in the second quarter —outscoring Quakertown 23-11 to take a 30-24 lead into the half.
