Freshman Kate Galica scored the OT game-winner and Carly Hynd contribute­d two assists in the winning effort for the Pioneers. The Magic goals were scored by Rory Williamson, Megan Maransky, and Campbell Donovan. Junior Minna Gersbach recorded her first career victory in goal for Conestoga, registerin­g three saves, and a late defensive save by Lily Wolfe kept the contest tied and headed to overtime. Magic goalkeeper Alyssa Brach- elli tallied seven saves in the loss. Conestoga moves to 6-1 overall, 2-1 in the Central League. With the loss, the Mount drops to 4-2 on the season. METHACTON 3, PV 2 >> Methacton made the most of its chances at The Training Center. A corner shot into the open left corner by Alexa Kratz put the Green and White up midway through the first half. Elena Snodgrass got a second goal on a reverse stick shot that floated over PV’s goalie into the upper right corner. A goal early in the second half on a shot from the top right put Methacton up 3-0 on only five shots. Perk Valley did not go quietly, dominating play over the final 20 minutes picking up 2 goals along the way by Katie Wuerstle. But Methacton was able to stop a final corner play by Perk Valley as time expired to cling to the victory.
