NORTH PENN 72, WISSAHICKO­N 43 >> Val McGriff score 12 of her game-high 20 points in the first quarter as North Penn rolled to its second straight win in Wednesday’s SOL nonconfere­nce contest.

Alli Lindsey hit three 3-pointers in scoring 15 points while Abby Plaugher added 10 points for the Knights (13-5, 6-3 SOL Continenta­l), who led 42-23 at halftime.

Anna Schools made four 3-pointers in scoring a team-high 16 points for Wissahicko­n (7-11, 4-7 SOL American).
