Outdoor service

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main St. North Wales, celebrates the 10th Sunday after Pentecost with an outdoor service at 9 a.m. in the shaded side yard, corner of Main and Church. Those attending are asked to gather and behave like responsible citizens, bringing masks, lawn chairs (BYOC) and staying the suggested 6 feet apart from each other, unless sitting next to a family member. Parking is available in the lower parking lot or in the parking spaces for the fire hall on Montgomery Avenue. A sound system will be on top of the stairs and people may sit below. It will be an informal service. Individual communion kits are available to pick up at the beginning of the service. If the weather brings rain or thunderstorms we will cancel, and if in doubt, check your email prior to the service. This Sunday we will have a virtual healing and prayer service. Although our physical church facilities are temporarily closed due to the pandemic, the rest of our church — the people, prayers, spirits and ministries — are open. Our weekly food drive for Manna on Main Street is every Wednesday from 11-1. Drop off non-perishable food and household (laundry and hand soap, cleaning supplies and paper products) items in the pick up in our parking lot.
