St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main St. North Wales, celebrates the 13th Sunday after Pentecost with an outdoor service at 9 a.m. in the shaded side yard, corner of Main and Church. We will gather and behave like good responsible citizens, bringing our masks, our own lawn chairs (BYOC) and staying the suggested 6 feet apart from each other, unless you are sitting next to a family member. You can park your car in the parking lot. Handicapped accessible. We have individual communion kits that people can pick up at the beginning of the service. You don’t need a reservation. Just come. If the weather brings rain or thunderstorms we will cancel. Check your email or call the office if in doubt. At the same time we continue our internet church services. Access via www.stpetersnorthwales.org directly or click on the Facebook logo. All of our past services and special music can also be viewed on our web site. Minimal staffing in the office: 215-699-4604. This Sunday we will be featuring St. Peter’s Belles and their concert tour to Germany and Switzerland in 2012. Our weekly food drive is every Wednesday from 11-1. The next several weeks the donations will benefit New Creation Lutheran Church in the Tioga section of Philadelphia. Their food pantry for that community is running low on supplies. Drop off non-perishable food such as boxed or canned food, dry cereal, crackers and powdered milk. Also collecting new underwear and socks for children at Silver Springs. Place all donations in the designated truck located in the church parking lot.
