NORRISTOWN » Montgomery County authorities are turning to the public for help, offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the November, 2020 fatal shooting of 30-year-old Ebony Sequita Pack in Lansdale.

“Please call detectives and share any detail about that night or anything you might know. We want to find Ebony’s murderer and bring justice to her family,” county District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said on Monday as he and Lansdale Police Chief Michael Trail announced the reward.

The fatal shooting occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Nov. 28 at the intersection of East Hancock Street and Church Road in Lansdale.

The investigation began about 9:59 p.m. when Lansdale police responded to reports

about a vehicle crash and shots fired. Officers arrived to find Pack seated in the driver’s seat of her Nissan sedan, suffering from several gunshot wounds. Police observed that Pack’s vehicle had numerous bullet strikes on the driver’s side door.

Pack, who authorities previously said resided in Bucks County, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Pack was transported to Abington-Lansdale Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. An autopsy determined the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death was ruled homicide.

Investigators previously said they believed the incident was not a random act but rather Pack was the intended target.

Lansdale police and county detectives are conducting the joint investigation. Steele asked anyone who has any information to come forward and do the right thing.

Anyone with information regarding the fatal shooting should contact the Montgomery County Detectives’ Tip Line at 610-278-DOIT (3647) or Lansdale Borough Police at 215-368-1801.
