WISSAHICKON 77, SPRINGFIELD MONTCO 53 » Senior Matt Compas scored 35 points in the Trojans season-opening win over Springfield Wednesday night.

Jackson Intrieri added 11 points for Wiss and Ryan Friedman had nine.

Wissahickon held a 10-9 lead after eight minutes before taking control in the second quarter. The Trojans won the second, 24-11 behind nine points from Compas and eight from Intrieri, to take complete control of the game. NORTH PENN 2, UPPER MORELAND 2 » Seoyeon Lee bowled a series-high 407 to help the Knights overcome losses in the first two games to tie the match, 2-2.

North Penn’s Lorna Loughery also topped 300 pins in the series with 358.

Upper Moreland, which was bowling with just four plays to North Penn’s five, won the first two games by a combined eight pins.

Golden Bears with a 383 series while Emma Weiss posted a 350 and Isabella Luchsinger 320.

CB SOUTH 39, SOUDERTON 36 » Souderton dropped an SOL Colonials match against CB South Wednesday night.

Emerson Goering and Charlie Arobone each pinned their opponents in less than 90 seconds for Souderton. Goering won his match in 1:28 at 152 pounds and Arobone won his 113-pound match in 1:22.
