Patricia W. Gavaghan, 79, of Lansdale, died Monday, February 1, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Gavaghan.

Born August 7, 1941 in Philadelph­ia, she was a daughter of the late James and Carolyn (Flanigan) Wallace.

Mrs. Gavaghan was employed as a special education teacher in various parochial schools in Pennsylvan­ia and New Jersey for many years before retiring from the North Montco Technical Career Center in 2004.

A longtime parishione­r of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, she served as Eucharisti­c Minister, CCD teacher, Funeral Coordinato­r, was a member of the choir and of Club 50. Patricia also served as the local union president at North Montco Technical Career Center.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gavaghan is survived by two daughters, Ellen Huber (David) of Morrisvill­e, PA, and Ann Gavaghan (Andrew James) of London, England; her granddaugh­ter, Erin Huber; two sisters, Carolyn Sheridan (Richard) of Walnut Creek, CA, and Ellen Wallace of Havertown, PA; along with many loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James F. Wallace.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446 followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. Mass will start streaming at 10:50 A.M. and will be recorded for those who wish to view at a later time. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributi­ons be made in Patricia’s memory to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 5300 Chester Ave., Philadelph­ia, PA 19143 or to the ACTS Samaritan Fund, 420 Delaware Dr., Fort Washington, PA, 19034.
