Dock closes out regular season with win
Girls Basketball
DOCK 41, TCA 19 >> Dock took control in the second half outscoring TCA by 10 for the win. Dock was led by sophomore guard Kenzie Derstine, who scored a game-high 15 points. Freshman guard Abbey Mellinger scored 11 points in the victory. Senior center Jocelyn Pfleigher playing in her final home game at Dock added 6 points and 10 rebounds.
Boys Basketball
PHIL-MONT CHRISTIAN 56, DOCK 38 >> The Pioneers finished off their fourth game in five days with a loss. Dock struggled from the floor, shooting a poor percentage from the field and free-throw line. Tired legs proved to be to much to overcome for the Pioneers. Dock returns to the court on Thursday in postseason play.
HOLY GHOST PREP 71, DOCK 41 >> The Pioneers fell behind 17-5 after one quarter and never recovered in a loss to Holy Ghost on Thursday. Nathan Lapp paced Dock with 18 points.
WOOD 73, DEVON PREP 48 >> The Vikings continued their dominant season with another strong performance on Friday night. Jaylen Stinson led a balanced attack with 19 points.

The Upper Dublin boys basketball team defeated Haverford 48-46 in the first round of District 1-6A play on Saturday.
The Cardinals were led by sophomore Colin O’Sullivan’s 24 points and senior Drew Stover’s
16 points.
Upper Dublin took a 2517 lead into halftime as O’Sullivan scored 15 points with Stover taking up much of Haverford’s attention.
The Cardinals though were outscored 14-5 in the third quarter and trailed 31-30 entering the fourth.
Stover took over in the final frame, scoring 7 of his 16 points as the Cardinals rallied for the win. Stover shot did most of his damage at the free throw line,s hooting 8-of-10 there.
Next up for Upper Dublin is a meeting with No. 4 Garnet Valley in the second round of District 1-6A play.
