Food pantry donation drive

Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church is holding a donation drive to benefit Martha’s Choice Pantry, a food pantry located in Norristown. The organization typically serves approximately 1,000families and 3,500 individuals each month. That number has doubled at times during the past year. Loss of jobs and income due to the pandemic has greatly affected many families. Clients must live in Montgomery County and qualify for the federally funded emergency assistance program. The items needed are size 5 and size 6 disposable baby diapers, baby wipes, paper towels and toilet paper. All amounts are acceptable, including warehouse-sized packages. Items should be dropped off at Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church, 837 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale on Friday, April 9, from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to noon. Items will be dropped off in a drive through drop-off process that is contactless. Please contact the church with any questions by phone at 215-699-9159 or email deacons@gwyneddsquare.org.
