Souderton girls lacrosse rolls past Neshaminy

SOUDERTON 17, NESHAMINY 4 » Caroline Kelly collected three goals and two assists, Clark Trowbridge scored three times and Souderton ended a two-game losing skid by cruising past Neshaminy in their SOL National contest Wednesday.

Ang Borisow had two goals and an assist for the Indians (6-2, 4-1 conference) while Avery Farina, Lauren Hallman, Isabel John and Peyton Clemmer also added two goals.

UPPER MORELAND 16, WILLIAM TENNENT 1 » Isabel Leiter finished with four goals and an assist while Maddy Trzaka recorded two goals and three assists as Upper Moreland earned a Senior Night victory to stay undefeated.

Charlotte James had two goals and an assist, Olivia Meakim and Reagan Cummis both scored twice and Willow Taylor handed out two assists for the Golden Bears (6-0, 3-0 SOL American).

Baseball

SPRING-FORD 16, METHACTON 2 (5) » Methacton scored twice in the top of the first inning but Spring-Ford answered with six in the bottom of the frame and rolled from there for a five-inning PAC Liberty win.

The Rams’ Ayden McNelly was a home run short of the cycle, going 3-for-3 with a double, triple, 3 RBIs and a run scored. Jake Kisela was 2-for-3 with an RbI and two run scored, Cole Casamento went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Jake Brooks connected on a three-run homer in the third.

Kevin Trafford hit a double for Methacton.

NORTH PENN 6, CB WEST 1 » The Knights raised their SOL Colonial Division mark to a perfect 4-0 Tuesday, clinching at least a share of the title.

The Knights can clinch the title outright when they play Souderton Thursday. North Penn is now a perfect 11-0 on the season.

At No. 1 singles, CB West’s Alexander Kouznetsov defeated Jay Doscher 6-0, 6-2. The rest was all Knights. At second singles, Ansh

Sharma won over Andrei Bogdan 3-6, 6-2, 6-3, and at the No. 3 spot, Hans Perera was a 6-1, 6-0 winner over Samai Kolandaive­lu.

At doubles, Andrew Brown and Alex Brown defeated Ethan Maher and Tusahar Kukawada 6-0, 6-0; Dave Horrell and Jack Bachman defeated Ryan Mayerberg and John O’Hara 6-3, 6-3; Nikhil Madaka and Jigar Dadarwala defeated Dominic Swain and Dan Barber 6-3, 6-1; and Collin McGuire and Adi Ingle defeated Vineet Nayak and Nathan Pickel 6-2, 6-2.

Boys Volleyball PENNRIDGE 3, QUAKERTOWN

1» The Rams upped their mark to 6-2 Tuesday, winning 25-17, 25-18, 23-25, 2521.

Ryan Benscoter had 25 kills, six digs and three aces for the Rams.
