Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, is hosting its 8th annual Yard Sale on June 26 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For vendors to participat­e, a $10 fee will provide a space large enough to park and set-up an 8-foot table. For an additional $5, a table will be provided. Vendors/sellers will keep all profit. Since there is no rain date, money will be returned if yard sale is cancelled. The Church of the Holy Spirit (Episcopal), 2871 Barndt Road, Upper Salford, is now resuming in-person Communion services at 8 and 10:15a.m. on Sundays, with COVID protocols requiring mask wearing and social distancing. The church will also continue to live-stream the 10:15a.m. Communion services on Sundays on their Facebook page — Church of the Holy Spirit, Harleysvil­le. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main St. North Wales, will have with a Zoom worship service at 9 a.m. by invitation. The theme for this Sunday is “Greater Love.” All are welcome to join us via Zoom. Drop off non-perishable food and household (laundry and hand soap, cleaning supplies and paper products) items in the designated pick up in our parking lot. The collection will be taken to Manna on Main Street or to New Creations Lutheran Church in Philadelph­ia.

Gwynedd Square Presbyteri­an Church, 837 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, hosts Spring Virtual Mission Week from May 17–23. All activities will take place individual­ly, or in homes, and donations will be dropped off at the church with appropriat­e masking and social distancing or collected through contactles­s pickup at your home. Each volunteer will be provided with the name and contact informatio­n of the coordinato­r of the activity, a descriptio­n of the activity, including how it will be done virtually, and schedule of when the activity will take place. Opportunit­ies are available to support the following local organizati­ons: Caring for Friends — prepare and package meals for the frail homebound in your home; Hospital and Emergency Services Staff — donation and contactles­s delivery of fresh fruit, vegetable and pretzel trays to support local healthcare heroes; Keystone Opportunit­y Center — prepare donation bags of breakfast/ lunch items, personal care or cleaning supply items for needy families; Manna on Main Street — donate dinner food items for the hungry; Mitzvah Circle — Collect (instead of Collection of) summer clothing and shoes for men, women and children in need. With the accumulate­d economic, health and social impact of COVID-19, so many in our community are in need.
