Pocono Raceway to operate at full capacity for all races this summer

Pocono Raceway has partnered with the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau for the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, June 27. In addition to the race name, Pocono Raceway and the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau will host a giveaway where fans can enter for a chance to win a VIP experience and the opportunit­y to wave the green flag to start Sunday's race. More details about this giveaway, in addition to more fan-driven programs, will be announced soon.

The big news is that Pocono will be able to operate at full capacity for the race events.

The Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 will also highlight the indoor and outdoor attraction­s, activities, events, lodging and restaurant­s within the 2,400 square miles encompassi­ng northeast Pennsylvan­ia's Carbon, Monroe, Pike and Wayne counties. Guests visiting the Pocono Mountains each summer can explore over 350 hiking and bike trails, over 35 golf courses, whitewater rafting, boating, fishing and open access to nine state and two national parks.

The Pocono Mountains is home to a plethora of indoor and outdoor waterpark resorts, hotels, restaurant­s and activities for all ages.

Kids, ages 12 and under can attend all NASCAR events at Pocono Raceway for free in 2021. Grandstand parking is also free and coolers are welcome. Pocono Raceway offers a variety of Grandstand ticketing options, with adult tickets start at $10 on Friday and $45 for Saturday or Sunday, and camping options, starting at $200. Pocono Raceway, located in Monroe County, Pa., will host five NASCAR and ARCA races in three days during the 2021 NASCAR Doublehead­er Weekend. The jam-packed weekend starts with the General Tire #AnywhereIs­Possible 200 ARCA Menards Series race on Friday, June 25th. A NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the first of two NASCAR Cup Series races will be held on Saturday, June 26th. The weekend ends with the Pocono Green 225 Recycled by J.P. Mascaro & Sons NASCAR Xfinity Series race and the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 NASCAR Cup Series races on Sunday, June 27th.

This weekend at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday May 14 and Saturday May 15 the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series invade for the running of the Morgan Cup. Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) and Speed51. com have formed a partnershi­p ahead of SRX's inaugural season with Speed51.com serving as the series' short-track content marketing partner for the 2021 season.

SRX is a six-race shorttrack series airing this summer on Saturday nights in primetime on CBS. It features drivers from an array of motorsport­s background­s competing in identicall­y prepared racecars on a variety of tracks.

SRX and Speed51.com will work together to promote grassroots racing across North America.

SRX debuts June 12 at Stafford (Conn.) Motor Speedway. After Stafford, SRX visits back-toback dirt tracks — Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway on June 19 and Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on June 26. SRX returns to pavement July 3 at Lucas Oil Raceway near Indianapol­is and then ventures north to Slinger (Wis.) Speedway on July 10 before its season finale July 17 at the Nashville (Tenn.) Fairground­s Speedway.

The star-studded SRX driver roster includes Tony Stewart, Tony Kanaan, Paul Tracy, Bobby Labonte, Willy T. Ribbs, Bill Elliott, Ernie Francis Jr., Marco Andretti, Helio Castroneve­s and Michael Waltrip. Coby joins this SRX lineup at Stafford, Brown will race at Knoxville, Swanson competes at Eldora, and Santos races at Lucas Oil Raceway. The winner of the Slinger Nationals will compete in the penultimat­e SRX race at Slinger.
