What constitutes an ‘eyesore’?

- Ada Miller West Rockhill

“A horrendous eyesore!” This is how Jay Keyser, West Rockhill Supervisor, describes the solar installation on Township property. (See Bob Keeler News-Herald 5/20/21.)

“Horrendous” is how Keyser describes:

* Cost savings of $370K in utility costs over the life of the installation

* Educational opportunities for surrounding School Districts, of which interest has already been shown by teachers of Physics and Environmental Sciences

* Proposed interactive projects with students and teachers of STEAM

* Regional and State interest shining a positive light on our Township

* No monthly fees * Fencing and landscaping will be paid using grants and donations

Jay Keyser says “it looks horrible, especially in historic Bucks County.” But Mr. Keyser, do you also feel that way about these items you have approved during your tenure: signs from businesses lining our Park fences? The cell tower on Township property? Let’s talk about that sewage holding tank.

Instead of relying on science and data, Mr. Keyser resorts to partisan hyperbole to stir controversy.

Now let’s address taxpayer dollars. Mr. Keyser over the course of his tenure, has taken an astonishing and grotesque $350K+ in taxpayer dollars to pay for personal healthcare for just him and his wife, a practicing Dentist.

That, Mr. Keyser, is horrendous!

(Full disclosure: I am the wife of Supv. Jim Miller, but I am also a 45 year WRT resident.)
