Kevin R. McCourt

Kevin R. McCourt, 66, passed away surrounded by his children on June 13, 2021. He was the husband of Christina (Rocco) McCourt.

Born December 31, 1954 in Sellersville, PA, Kevin was the son of the late Edward and Janice (Clayton) McCourt. He grew up in the Lansdale area and graduated from North Penn High School, Lansdale.

Surviving are two children, Jillian E. McCourt, Philadelphia, and Patrick E. (Kara) McCourt, Berlin, CT; three grandchildren, Patrick, Magdalene, and McKenna; a brother, Donald (JoAnne) McCourt, MA, a niece Kelly McCourt, MA, and a nephew Robert McCourt, CA.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his grandson, the angel of the family, Charlie L. McCourt, in January 2017.

Kevin was the owner/operator of a fence company for many years. Previously, he was a foreman with Heritage Fence Company in Skippack. Later in life he was a school bus driver and also drove the bus for Foulkeways in Gwynedd. Kevin was proud that he obtained his CDL (commercial driver’s license). Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his tractor/ doing yard work.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service on Monday, June 21, 11:00AM, with a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 at the Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale. Interment at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Hatfield.

Kevin’s family would appreciate donations to an organ donation organization of the donor’s choice, while flowers are also welcome.
