Lois Detweiler

Lois Detweiler, age 90, of Hatfield, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Grand View Hospital in West Rockhill Twp., PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert G. Detweiler who died in 1986.

Born in Hatfield, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Anna (Fretz) Stubbs.

A homemaker, Mrs. Detweiler was a faithful member of Grace Bible Church in Souderton. She loved her family and truly loved raising her children. As a mother, Lois would always make time for her children regardless of what other activities were on her schedule. She enjoyed going out for lunch to the R & S Keystone Diner, doing puzzles and Sudoku, and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by five children: Kenneth H. Detweiler of Virginia, Sandra L. Reid and her husband William of Womelsdorf, James S. Detweiler and his wife Sharon of North Haven, CT, David J. Detweiler and his wife Mindy of New Providence, Philip L. Detweiler and his wife Karen of Telford, 14 grandchildren: Brian, Tina, Kristin, Jason, Melissa, Daniel, Nathan, Nicholas, Joshua, Justin, Faith, Hannah, Kelsi, Sarah, and 11 great grandchildren, and a brother, Melvin Stubbs of Ephrata.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, PA 18969. Interment will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories. Family will receive friends from 9-10 AM prior to the service.
