St. John’s United Church of Christ,

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church,
211 S. Main Street, North Wales celebrates this Fourth of July Sunday with an outdoor Communion service in the side yard at 9:30 a.m. Bring your own chairs. If rain is forecast, one service, Zoom at 9:30 a.m. Contact the church office at 215-699-4604 for the Zoom link. Weekly food collection is for New Creations Lutheran Church in Philadelphia on Wednesday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church parking lot. A North Wales Fourth of July parade starts on Main Street behind Action Karate at 11 a.m., travels past St. Peter’s and ends in Weingartner Park. At the park there will be a short ceremony, picnic with food, live music, games and prizes. All are welcome!

The Church of the Holy Spirit (Episcopal),
2871 Barndt Road, Upper Salford, holds in-person Communion services at 8 and 10:15 a.m. on Sundays, with COVID protocols and masks for those not vaccinated. The church continues to live-stream the 10:15 a.m. Communion services on Sundays on their Facebook page — Church of the Holy Spirit, Harleysville. Compline services are being provided over Zoom at 8 p.m. on Thursdays. Services are led by the Rev. Kathy Andonian, Rector, assisted by staff, parish and choir members. A piano concert featuring Helen Kohler, a graduate of Souderton Area High School and the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, along with guest pianist Erica Cherry, will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, at the church. Featured will be Gerschwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” Argentinian dances by Ginestera and works by American composer Florence Price, Chopin and Schumann. Blooming Glen Mennonite Church,
713 Blooming Glen Road, will continue summer outdoor pavilion services at 9:30 a.m. until September 26. Join us for joyful worship and singing, prayer, and inspiring preaching as well as adult, children’s, and youth Sunday schools. CDC recommended COVID guidelines will be followed, including distancing and wearing masks under the pavilion and indoors. The pavilion is located at the rear of the property.
