Gwynedd Square Presbyteri­an Church

is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, August 10, from 2to 7 p.m. With the ongoing pandemic, many usual Red Cross collection sites have been closed. In part, this has created a critical supply shortage of blood donations. It is best to make an appointmen­t but the Red Cross will take walk-ins if not too busy. They are asking people who feel ill in any way not to donate blood. Face masks must be worn and temperatur­es will be taken at sign in. St. John’s United Church of Christ, 500 W. Main St., Lansdale, continues to hold in-person worship in the church sanctuary. The trio of Liz Vanderburg, Anne Kinsey, and Eric Kinsey will sing “Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us” by William B. Bradbury at the 9 a.m. service on July 18. All are welcome! St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 125 N. Main Street, North Wales. Organist Young Shim will provide special music throughout the 10a.m. worship service on July 18. Young has a degree in Organ Performanc­e from the University of Seoul, Korea. Music by J.S. Bach and George Friderick Handel will be featured.

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main Street, North Wales, celebrates Sunday, July 18 with an outdoor Communion service in the side yard at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Michael Carlson is our guest pastor. The Church of the Holy Spirit (Episcopal), 2871 Barndt Road, Upper Salford, holds in-person Communion services at 8and 10:15a.m. on Sundays, with COVID protocols and masks for those not vaccinated.
