Machado, GA shut down Hill School
GA 12, HILL SCHOOL 0 >> Tristian Machado went 12-for22 with 123 yards and one touchdown as the Patriots locked down Hill on Saturday. Machado hooked up with Jake Hsu for a 23yard TD pass in the second quarter, the only TD of the game. Brian Allen paced the ground game with 143 yards on 22 carries as the Patriots rumbled for 180 yards on the ground.

ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 4, D’EAST 2 >> Both teams fought hard and it was a back and forth game but the Patriots scored three goals off penalty corners. Reilly McMenamin was phenomenal in goal with 12 saves. Sienna Golden, Cate McConaghy and Courtland Schumacher held strong on the frontline with McConaghy and Golden each scoring two goals.
Girls soccer
METHACTON 2, SPRINGFIELD 0>> The Warriors scored twice in the first half and it held up in a nonconference win over SpringfieldDelco on Saturday. Kendall Ricca and Aubrey Beaugard provided the offense with assists from Ruby Murray and Kirsten O’Brien. Junior Mairi Smith made eight saves for Methacton (2-1-1).
Boys cross country
BIG RED TAKES GRIFFITHS >> Souderton Area won the Griffins Invitational on Friday. Manny Rota-Talarico,
Aiden Maue, and Aidan Kearns swept the top three places in the race. The Indians also won the J.V. race, led by A.J. Gardner and Justin Stauffer’s firstand second-place finishes. Souderton will travel to Central Bucks West on Tuesday.
