Ellen F. Zweig
Ellen F. Zweig, 83, of Lansdale, died peacefully Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Kutzner and the late Rev. Robert H. Zweig.
Born May 1, 1938 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Roessler) Schoedler.
Ellen first worked for her family’s business, Elkay Manufacturing in Sellersville. After her time there, she was employed and volunteered in various positions for many years at Elm Terrace
Gardens. Through much hard work and dedication, she earned her Doctorate degree in Religious Education. Ellen also served the church community by sharing her services as a talented pianist.
Ellen is survived by her children, Jonathan Kutzner (Karen) of Souderton, Martha Landis (Todd) of Harleysville, and Miriam Cochran (David) of Bristol; and her brother James B. Schoedler (Kathy) of Denver, CO. She was also a devoted Nana to seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by a son, David E. Kutzner. The Elm Terrace community is invited to call between 9:30 and 10:00 AM Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Elm Terrace Gardens, 660 N. Broad Street, Lansdale, PA 19446 with a brief service to follow at 10:00. A second visitation for friends and family will be held that morning between 11:00 and 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 700 N. Broad Street, Lansdale,
PA 19446 followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private at Limerick Garden of Memories.
