Join Wayne Art Center on a fun and creative adventure this summer through Passport to ART.
Journey across the many continents and civilizations that make up our world and discover famous artists and the masterworks created from each region.
Search for the Seven Wonders of the World. Uncover the ancient art and architecture of Egypt, Greece and Rome and the colorful mosaics and textiles of Africa, Europe, Asia and South America. Traverse the rich landscapes of Great Britain, the South Pacific and North America.
At each unique destination, campers ages 5-17 will learn about artists who made a mark and learn about their styles and techniques through more than 100 diverse classes over 10 one-week sessions from June 13- Aug. 20.
Wayne Art Center’s spacious and naturally lit studios, lush gardens and beautiful galleries are the perfect backdrop to awaken each child’s creative nature.
The popular Teen Studio offers intensive study in the visual arts led by experienced teachers who strive to encourage and motivate each student to find their own voice. Try your hand at drawing, painting, cartooning, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, cooking and more.
Camp classes are limited in size, giving each child an opportunity to create under the guidance of a talented faculty, assisted by a committed group of interns and teen volunteers. A flexible daily schedule features half-day and full-day classes with lunch bunch included for full-day students.
Wayne Art Center’s 2022 Summer Art Camp will teach your child about art and culture from around the world, but there is so much more! Exposure to the arts will encourage your child to imagine, visualize, innovate and think critically in a stimulating and nurturing environment.
