PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 70, QUAKERTOWN 54 » After a slow start, the Colonials (12-6, 9-3) heated up in the second quarter with a 21-12 run and pulled away from the Panthers on Friday night. Jaden Colzie led PW with 21 points, while Zende Hubbard and Qudire Bennett each added 10. Ty Wilkin paced Quakertown with 19 points.

WOOD 81, BONNER AND PRENDERGAS­T 59 » The Vikings outscored their opponents in every quarter and picked up the PCL win on Friday night. Jalil Bethea led the way, scoring 13 of his teamhigh 27 points in the second quarter when Wood put 21 points on the board. Josh Reed chipped in with 15 points and Michael Knouse added 12.

GA 64, EA 53 » Blake Smith had a big second half and the Patriots (8-8, 3-4) pulled away for the win, outscoring EA 40-22. Smith scored 11 of his 17 points in the second half, sharing team-high honors with Casey Traina, who also scored 17.

UPPER MORELAND 52, LOWER MORELAND 47 » The Golden Bears (10-6, 5-6) led just 30-28 at the half, but a 15-6 third-quarter run sent them on their way Friday night.

Byron Hopkins led a balanced attack with 15 points, while Matt Tiernan added 12. Ian Alecia led Lower Moreland (5-11, 4-6) with 12 points.

PW 62, QUAKERTOWN 25 » The Colonials outscored the Panthers in every quarter and coasted to the SOL Liberty win on Friday. Lainey Allen led PW (18-0, 13-0) with a career-high 21 points, while Abby Sharpe chipped in with 14 and Erin Daley added 11. Kaitlyn Flanagan and Jordyn Thomas led the strong defensive effort. PW gets another nonconfere­nce challenge Sunday with a visit from Cardinal O’Hara.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 41, WISSAHICKO­N 36 » Emily Thomas scored 16 points and Alice Hall added 15 as the Hatters (9-5, 7-4) picked up the SOL Liberty win on Friday night. Kylie Friedman scored 13 points while Kaitlyn McGeary added 12 for the Trojans (6-9, 3-9).

NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 71, SPRINGFIEL­D TWP. 50 » The Spartans fell behind 2410 after one quarter and dropped the SOL Freedom contest on Friday night. Samiyyah Thompson paced Springfiel­d with 23 points.

Bears raced out to a 15-3 lead after one quarter and never looked back in a SOL Freedom contest on Friday night. EmmyFaith Wood paced Upper Moreland (104, 8-3) with 16 points. GERMANTOWN ACADEMY 61, SCH ACADEMY 24 » The Patriots went up 23-3 after one quarter and never looked back on Friday night. Kendall Bennett paced GA with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Isabella while Casey added 13.

19; METHACTON 66, PJP II 28; PJP II 61, POTTSGROVE 32 » It was a big swim meet in the PAC for the Warriors on Friday. The quartet of Christophe­r Groff, John Du, Dylan Phan and Chirs McKernan got things off to a smooth smart with a 1:51.02 time in the 200 medley relay. Also taking first-place honors for Methacton were Christian Lebold in the 50 free (24.37), Tommy Gibbs in the 200 free (1:50.41), Groff in the 100 fly (55.73), Phan in the 100 back (1:04.69) and Jack Dowell in the 100 breast (1:12.08). The Warriors closed out the meet by winning the 200 free relay (Gibbs, Eric Zang, Lebold, Groff, 1:32.35) and 400 free relay (3:46.85, Gibbs, John Du, Dowell, Jake Kallal).

Standing out for PJP II was Henry Phillips, who won the 200 IM (2:04.90) and 500 free (5:06.92).

UPPER MERION 81, UPPER PERK 78 » Jack Larkin and Luke Andraka were double-race winners for the Vikings on Thursday. Larkin won the 200 and 500 free, while Andraka did the same in the 50 and 100 free.

METHACTON 60, POTTSGROVE

34; METHACTON 67,

PJP II 34; POTTSGROVE 57, PJP II 44 » Madison Wimmer had a good swim as the Warriors picked up a pair of wins on Friday. Wimmer won the 50 free (25.73) and 100 back (1:03.35). She also teamed with Sophia Leber, Alyssa Griffin and Hannah Taylor to win the 400 free relay. Truly Sommer also had a good day, winning the 200 free in 2:06.65 and teaming up with Amanda Tsai, Leber and Taylor to win the 200 free relay. Tsai won the 100 fly in 1:08.30 and Leber was first in the 500 free in 5:58.98 as the Warriors had a strong swim.

UPPER MERION 77, UPPER PERK 53 » Kaitlyn Miller powered the Vikings to the win on Thursday. Miller gave UM its first in the 200 free and 100 free while swimming the lead leg of its 200 medley relay.
