Upper Dublin gets share of SOL Liberty title

UPPER DUBLIN 51, HATBOROHOR­SHAM 35 » The Cardinals (16-6, 12-4) finished the regular season with a share of the SOL Liberty crown on Thursday night, their first league title since 2002. PW defeated Wissahicko­n 6348 to also get a share of the title. DJ Cerisier, Seaton Kukla and Colin O’Sullivan were all key contributo­rs in the game for the Cards. O’Sullivan led Upper Dublin with 13 points.

CB WEST 46, SOUDERTON 45 » The Indians District 1-6A playoff hopes were not helped with a heartbreak­ing SOL Colonial loss on Thursday night to the Bucks (6-15, 5-11). Jay Bonnet led Souderton with 11 points, while Shaun Purvy, Carson Grant and Paul Vince all added 7 for Souderton (13-9, 7-9). WILLIAM TENNENT 63, LOWER MORELAND 39 » The Panthers jumped out to a 32-16 halftime advantage and coasted to the SOL Freedom win on Friday.

Kirby Mooney led Tennent (8-12, 8-8) with 22 points.

UPPER MORELAND 49, NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 21 » The Golden Bears (14-8, 9-7) closed the game with a 21-4 run and picked up the SOL Freedom win on Thursday night. Matt Tiernan paced a balanced Upper Moreland offense with 10 points.

CHELTENHAM 72, SPRINGFIEL­D TWP. 44 » The Panthers outscored the Spartans in every quarter and closed in on a perfect regular season. Rasheem Dearry led Cheltenham (21-0, 15-0) with 21 points. Ben Cooney scored 11 for Springfiel­d (1010, 6-10).

CB SOUTH 63, PENNRIDGE 53 » The Rams trailed just 43-39 entering the fourth quarter, but were outscored 20-12 in the fourth quarter and dropped their season finale on Thursday. Jude D’Agostino paced Pennridge with 17 points, while Xavier Peters added 11. Michael Farley scored 17 points for CB South, who captured a share of the SOL Colonial title.

PW 56, WISS 15 » The Colonials finished their SOL Liberty season with a record of 16-0 for their third consecutiv­e outright league title. Kaitlyn Flanagan, Abby Sharpe, Erin Daley, Jordyn Thomas and Lainey Allen have all been starters and major contributo­rs for the three championsh­ips. On Thursday Sharpe led the way with 18 points, while Allen added 12 and Thomas scored 10 for PW (21-0).

ABINGTON 62, QUAKERTOWN 42 » The Ghosts (18-4, 13-2) picked up the SOL Liberty win on Friday night over the Panthers behind 15 points from Abril Bowser. Dani Brusha added 12 and Jaida Helm 10 for the Ghosts.

UPPER MORELAND 52, NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 45 » Reagan Chrencik scored her 1,000th point as the Golden Bears finished the regular season with a 17-5, 13-3 record and the SOL Freedom title.

ARCHBISHOP WOOD 74, ST. HUBERT ACADEMY 40 » The Vikings locked up the No. 3 seed in the PCL playoffs behind 19 points from Ryanne

Allen and 13 more from Deja Evans. Allie Fleming also chipped in with 11 points for Wood.

LOWER MORELAND 32, WILLIAM TENNENT 26 » The Lions outscored the Panthers 15-6 in the fourth quarter and picked up the SOL Freedom win on Thursday. Jess Dugo scored 11 points, while Briana McFerran added 10 for Lower Moreland (1110, 8-8). Ella Mednick led Tennent (3-17, 3-13) with 13 points.

CHELTENHAM 49, SPRINGFIEL­D TWP. 21 » The Panthers took a 20-4 lead into halftime and coasted to the SOL Freedom win on Thursday. Tyrina Ragsdale scored 14 points, while Mikahila Leighton added 13 for the Panthers (6-16, 3-13).
