Richard C. Kreisher, known as “Dick” to his friends and family, age 85, passed away on February 21, 2022 in the same town as his birth, Lansdale PA.

He was born the youngest of four on April 9th, 1936, to John H.

and Elsie (Wiley) Kreisher. Having just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversar­y, Dick resided with his loving wife, Judith (McNaughton) Kreisher.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Beth Harbon and son in law, Rodney Harbon, his son, Richard Kreisher, grandchild­ren, Ashley Harbon, Ryan Harbon and his wife Zana and three great-granddaugh­ters, Gracelyn, Talulah

and Marigold. Dick is also survived by his brother Gerald Kreisher and many nieces and nephews. He

was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ruth Harman and brother John Kreisher.

He graduated from Lansdale High School as part of the class of 1953 and served as an MP in the Army at Fort Monroe, VA. Before retiring in 1999, he worked for Capitol Signs for nearly 40 years, chances are you’ve seen a sign he worked on.

Dick was an avid sportsman and hunter and relished in spending time in the great outdoors. He enjoyed golfing, tennis and was a phenomenal baseball pitcher in his younger years. He was a

member of the Local IBEW Union, Great Swamp Fish and Game and the North Penn Golf League. In his later years he took up the hobbies of painting, baking and pickling.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday February 28th from 4:00-6:00 pm prior to a memorial service at 6:00 pm at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale. Burial will be private at Whitemarsh Cemetery in Ambler. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to Peace Valley Nature Center or The Little Free Library.
